Justin is a Managing Principal at Excelsis Research and founded the firm in December 2015. His primary responsibility includes investment manager research, analytics, and due diligence within traditional asset classes. Additionally, Justin oversees the firm’s quantitative approach, assists with the firm’s asset allocation process, and provides capital market commentary and insight. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in Purchase, New York, handling manager due diligence and asset allocation requests involving the firm’s Senior Consultants and Private Wealth Advisors. Following Morgan Stanley’s acquisition of Smith Barney in 2009, Justin transitioned to a research role on a Graystone Consulting team in Orlando, Florida. There he provided investment research and consulting services to institutional clients and high net worth families. In 2013, Justin joined CapTrust Advisors in Tampa, Florida, serving as a voting member of the Investment Research Committee. He then returned to Orlando to join the research team at AndCo Consulting in January 2015, prior to starting Excelsis at the end of his first year. Justin received a BS in Finance from the University of Tennessee.
